WWE Stars React To AEW Dynamite’s Jay Briscoe Tribute – Wrestling Inc.

AEW aired a tribute video celebrating the life of the late Jay Briscoe. 1/25 “AEW Dynamite” in Lexington, Kentucky.

The video includes highlights from Briscoe’s illustrious AEW career, shots of her parents appearing on ROH programming, a heartfelt video of Jay’s daughter talking about why she loves her dad, and spending time together over the holidays. A few other shots of the Briscoe family were included. Decisive Battle on December 10thhe and his brother defeated FTR in a memorable dog collar match.

“First of all, we love each and every one of you,” Jay said in the promotion.

The video, which has gone viral on social media since it first aired, can be seen below.

The tribute video elicited many reactions from wrestlers around the world. Many of them shared rings with Jay or admired his work over the years.

As a WWE Superstar Mia “Michin” Yim tweeted “#DemBoys”. Shortly after the video aired, the former WWE Superstar Summer Rae responded with a heartbreak emoji.

Amanda Hoover, wife of the late Brody Lee. Confessing that “Heart is heavy” when I saw the video. WWE Hall of Fame Inductee Bree Ray tweeted“God bless the Briscoe/Pew family.”

Meanwhile, the current AEW/ROH star Matt Taven tweeted “I love you Jay” Former ROH star Vincent posted a heart emoji while reacting to the video.Also an independent wrestler Lady Frost wrote a ‘beautiful tribute’ Along with some heart emojis on Twitter.

Several other wrestlers retweeted the tribute video, including Mickey James, Mike Bennett and Swerve Strickland.

The tribute video is reportedly just the beginning of AEW/ROH’s initiative to celebrate Jay’s life and legacy. Mark Briscoe wrestles Jay Lethal in honor of his brotherAdditionally, ROH will air the ‘Jay Briscoe: Celebration of Life’ show later this week on the Honor Club streaming service’s YouTube channel. The program was recorded last week in Fresno, California.
