Nathaniel Wood used Twitter to demonstrate a takedown with a dog and make fun of Lerone Murphy.
Murphy extended his undefeated MMA record to 12-0-1 by defeating Gabriel Santos via split decision in the UFC 286 qualifier card. “Miracle” was supposed to fight Wood, but the latter unusual injuries during training.
Despite the canceled matchup, Murphy and Wood became fierce rivals on social media. “The Prospect” decided to tease its rivals on Twitter by recreating the moment with a dog. In the video he said:
“Okay, today I’m going to talk about the takedown that Gabriel Santos did on Lerone Murphy last night. Obviously, he’s having problems with my dog, so today I’m going to use Iva as a dummy. So what Gabriel Santos did here is he hits the cage and puts the grip on the gable pretty low here and lifts it like this and carries it across the cage like you’re taking Lerone to bed. and hit him.
Murphy won again at UFC 286, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see him face “The Prospect” in the future. “Miracle” may not interest you, but it looks like Wood is about to rebook the fight after numerous insults on Twitter.

It’s unclear why Nathaniel Wood followed suit. Lerone Murphy on social media. “The Prospect” may have felt like a missed opportunity to capitalize on this matchup. After Murphy’s victory UFC 286Wood sparked a debate on Twitter, “Miracle” did not back down:

Murphy’s victory over Gabriel Santos was his UFC With a 4-0-1 record, it ended in a draw for Zubaira Tukhgok on his promotion debut. Wood, on the other hand, is 6-2 in his UFC, but since moving up to featherweight in 2022, he’s 2-0. It will be interesting to see if this man is rebooked for a matchup between the two English prospects.
