Paul “Triple H” Levesque has had the creative side of WWE at his disposal, but he never forgets an important lesson he learned from his father-in-law, former WWE charliman and CEO Vince McMahon. Levesque has since been promoted to WWE’s Chief Content Officer. McMahon announced his retirement in July.
Levesque has been lauded ever since settling into creative roles on ‘Raw’ and ‘SmackDown’.when asked by sports news Regarding his reputation for being ahead of his time in sports entertainment, Levesque revealed that McMahon helped make him the leader he is today.
Speaking at a press conference for WWE’s upcoming Crown Jewel event, Levesque said, “In a way, we can say yes. In a way, we can’t argue with our success.” As far as a lot of people, especially Vince, I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for him, nobody would be here, all these people here today, it’s all about his talent, It depends on his drive, his vision.Things change and he also taught me an important lesson.When things change I don’t want to be the first.I don’t want to be the last.Other People go in there for a bit, see how the water feels, and then they go in.”
