Triller settles litigation with Timbaland and Swizz Beatz

Last month’s Grammy-winning artists Timbaland and Swizz Beatz TikTok rival Thriller sued for $28 million. Triller acquired livestream event series Verzuz last year, but two musicians have filed a lawsuit, claiming the social app missed out on millions of dollars in payments.

Triller is currently in a settlement with Timbaland and Swizz Beatz, but the terms of the settlement were not disclosed. However, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz will own a larger share of the company.

Triller missed out on a large payment in January when the two artists filed a lawsuit, so the parties agreed that Triller would pay $18 million by March 20, followed by $1 million per month for 10 months.
