Sheamus has recently enjoyed a big run after his brutal match with reigning Intercontinental Champion Gunther at WWE Clash at the Castle. The Celtic warriors did not emerge victorious, but received a standing ovation from the British crowd. At his live event, Drew also revived his song “Broken His Dreams” theme from McIntyre’s first WWE run.
The four-time World Champion made his WWE debut in 2009 under the former “ECW” brand. His admission then was much simpler and different than it is today. He entered with no special lighting and another theme song, “Written In My Face.” In an interview with Inside The RopesSheamus was asked about whether the original music might return.
“I definitely want that song back,” Sheamus said. “It’s amazing what songs and entrance music can do to bring back nostalgia to people…I will definitely keep trying to bring back that song. It’s something I haven’t given up…but I I think there will be a time and place for it to return.”
Sheamus is currently in a stable with Ridge Holland and Butch known as The Brawling Brute. Holland and Butch announced on the September 16th edition of “WWE SmackDown” that the winner would win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships, where Brawling his brute outlasted New Day, Hitlow and Imperium, winning the match and winning the match. Title against The Usos.
