San Francisco is open to giving black residents $5 million each in compensation
San Francisco is one of the few cities that seems to seriously consider compensating black residents. The table has some specific numbers ranging from $1 to millions.

On Tuesday, these people shared suggestions on how to make things right with the African-American community…and landed $5 million per eligible black resident. There are certain criteria that are put in place…including being at least 18 years old and being identified as Black/African American on official documents for at least 10 years. others.
There are other things people can receive under the draft reparations plan. In addition to his one-time $5 million payment, the commission recommended a guaranteed basic income of $97,000 annually for the next 250 years.
Plus, they’ve wiped out all your debt and tax burdens so you’ll never have to ask a question. It’s not entirely clear, but it seems like each family can only buy one.
Regarding all this payment… The Reparations Commission had no answer. On the other hand, the BOS actually unanimously endorsed the proposal and said it could raise funds later.
Sherman Walton, the board’s only black supervisor, is responsible for the matter and wants to include a compensation package in future city budgets.
