Ricochet on NXT 2.0

WWE NXT has gone through a lot of changes over the past year, and the NXT 2.0 rebrand is a very different product than it was in the Black and Gold era.The new version may not always have been well received by fans of the original ‘NXT’, but former North American champion Ricochet praised it for “trying to do something different” in a recent conversation. NBC Sports Boston.

“In this business, I think it’s forever. It never stops. I don’t think I could have gotten it,” said Ricochet. “That was the biggest aspect. But now I think it’s changing again. Not going back to what it was before, but something that feels different, something better.”

One thing the ‘NXT 2.0’ era has embraced is bringing major roster talent, including Ricochet himself, into the competition. He recently challenged Carmelo his Hayes and North American Championship at ‘NXT’ World his Collide.

“I think they’ve got a grip on maybe bringing the ‘Raw’ and ‘SmackDown’ guys, or the ‘NXT guys, to ‘Raw’ and ‘SmackDown.’ It’s something really big. Who knows?” he added. “But I think it’s really cool to think about the future. I’m positive and I’m really excited to see what comes out of it.”

At the end of last week’s NXT 2.0 1st anniversary episode, more change teasing The rebrand’s colorful logo looks like the black and gold colors of the past.
