Powerhouse Hobbes’ TNT Title Defense Added to AEW House Rules – Wrestling Inc.
Powerhouse Hobbs will defend the TNT Championship against veteran wrestler Christopher Daniels tonight at the AEW House Rules live event in Troy, Ohio.
The match was announced on last night’s episode of AEW Rampage, with Hobbs successfully retaining the title against Rey Fenix. Hobbes’ win was his first title defense. Win the TNT Championship from Wardlow At 3/8 “AEW Dynamite” in Sacramento, CA. Following the win, Hobbs revealed that he planned to run through the entire AEW roster and issued an open challenge to all participants for his title. According to AEW’s Twitter account, Daniels answered Hobbes’ open challenge The title match at AEW’s first-ever house show since ‘The House Always Wins’ event in April 2021.
Saturday’s show kicks off a series of AEW House Rules events throughout 2023. At the time of this writing, Another confirmed AEW live event will take place on July 15th at the Calgary Stampede Saddledome in Calgary. Additional show dates are expected to be “announced in the coming weeks.”
