The call for applications has ended. However, if you tried to register on February 15th and weren’t able to complete it, you may still be eligible for compensation.
We know that many of you have been working hard to enroll in plans through the Health Insurance Marketplace.®Despite your best efforts, you may not have been able to complete your application and select a plan.
If something like that happens, don’t worry. If any of these apply to you, you may still be eligible for coverage in 2015.:
- I tried to register for health insurance by February 15th, but was unable to complete my registration due to longer than normal wait times at the Marketplace call center on February 13th, 14th and 15th.
- I tried but could not register for health insurance by February 15th. This was due to technical issues with HealthCare.gov, such as the inability to submit an application because the verification source was down.
To complete your registration, you must prove that you meet one of the above statements. This opportunity is only available until February 22nd, 2015. Register for insurance as soon as possible. To complete your application, Log in to your Marketplace account Visit HealthCare.gov or call the Marketplace Call Center at 1-800-318-2596 to complete registration over the phone.
Note: This opportunity is intended to support first-time enrollment for the 2015 academic year. If you have already subscribed to a plan through the Marketplace, you cannot switch to another plan now unless you have recently experienced a life change that grants you a special enrollment period.
