If you are planning to join before the March 31st deadline, the special enrollment period has ended. Check if you can still get coverage through Marketplace or Medicaid/CHIP.
We know that many of you have worked hard to complete your health insurance enrollment on the Health Insurance Marketplace.®Despite our best efforts, we may not be able to complete the process on time due to heavy traffic to HealthCare.gov or our call centers, or delays due to maintenance windows or other special circumstances. .
If that happens, don’t worry. You may still be able to receive compensation in 2014.
If you have attempted to register in the system by the March 31, 2014 coverage registration deadline and have not completed it, we may still be able to assist you in obtaining coverage.
- Log in to your online marketplace application. Visit HealthCare.gov to complete the registration process. All you have to do is check online that you were still trying to register on March 31st.
- Or contact the Marketplace Call Center at 1-800-318-2596.The call center allows you to complete your registration over the phone. TTY users should call her at 1-855-889-4325. Be sure to tell the customer service representative that you are registering.
