2022 health insurance open enrollment begins November 1stWhen you are ready to apply, there are some important things you should know.

Enroll or renew for coverage from November 1 through 2022

• Register by December 15, 2021 for coverage starting January 1, 2022.
• Free registration ends on January 15, 2022. Mark this date on your calendar. If you register between 16th December 2021 and 15th January 2022, your coverage will start from 1st February 2022. If you miss the deadline, your registration opportunities will be limited.
• If you have insurance for 2021 and want to keep your plan for 2022, we recommend the following: Report expected changes to the marketplace, increase or decrease in income, increase or decrease in household members, etc. These changes may impact your coverage options and eligible savings. If you don’t act, you may be automatically enrolled in 2022, but you’ll miss out on new and better options.
• One application lets you check if you’re eligible for a Marketplace insurance discount (Most people do!) or free or low-cost coverage Medicaid or Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)If we believe someone in your household is eligible for Medicaid or CHIP, we will send your information to state agencies. I will contact you regarding admission.
