Nobel Prize winner Malala has a sweet run-in with an elderly stranger on Broadway show

Malala Yousafzai had a sweet run-in with a stranger while attending a performance of Broadway’s “Kite Runner” in New York City on Thursday.

An insider told EXCLUSIVELY that after the curtain closed, an elderly woman walked by the Pakistani-born education activist with her caretaker and immediately recognized Malala.

“Do you know who this is?” asked the caretaker.

An older woman turned to the 25-year-old Nobel Peace Prize winner, often referred to by her first name, and asked, “Who are you?”

“My name is Malala,” she replied.

When the nickname didn’t ring the bell, the elder asked, “How do I know you?”

“I have written a book,” replied Malala, but the woman, clearly unsatisfied, asked for the title.

“I’m Malala,” replied the Oxford graduate, citing her bestseller. 2013 memoir.

At that point another member of Malala’s group stepped in and said, human rights activistis standing

“She is also a Nobel Peace Prize winner,” the friend added.

“Good for you, congratulations,” replied the old woman before leaving.
