Injuries happen all the time in professional wrestling, and unfortunately some are much more serious than others. That is the current “WWE NXT” Superstar, Nikita Lyons. Since the summer of 2021, she’s been on her WWE deal. She has yet to win a gold medal, but at 23, her future looks pretty bright. But she confirmed the injury this afternoon InstagramLyons is set to be put on the shelf for some time after suffering a torn ACL and meniscus.
The Lions’ latest match came on January 20th at NXT Level Up, defeating Jakarra Jackson in just over five minutes.Above January 24th episode of NXT, Indy Hartwell and Dani Palmer ran into her in the parking lot as she was lying on the ground holding her leg. In May 2022, she had to be left out of the women’s ‘NXT’ breakout tournament after suffering an MCL sprain and a partial MCL tear. That said, these injuries kept the Lions out of action for just over a month.
The parking lot segment in this week’s episode may have been done to keep Lyons away from the TV while she recuperated. If anything, she declares that this setback won’t slow her down and that “this comeback is personal.”
