In two games, Trubisky completed 59.3% of his passes for 362 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. It’s clear he lacks the advantage of big plays. Trubisky ranks 29th in passing yards, running for just 16 yards. Despite some decent weaponry, the Steelers offense looked mediocre.
But there is hope along the way… maybe.
Steelers fans are already calling Week 2 features first-round rookie Kenny Pickett, who could make his debut in Week 3 if Trubisky fails to produce a splash play. Pickett has had solid results in the preseason, but that doesn’t guarantee success once the actual game begins.
