Restaurants led by superstar chefs, cozy community-style cafes, and trendy bars have joined the Constitution State drinking and dining scene this year, turning Connecticut into a delicious fall destination for hungry weekenders.

After a COVID-related hiatus, Greenwich Wine + Food returns in October for its 10th anniversary, benefiting two national nonprofits with Connecticut roots: The Jacques Pépin Foundation and Wholesome Waves .

The 2022 celebration will include a speakeasy dinner at South Norwalk-based distillery SONO 1420. Omakase dinner at Rowayton Seafood Restaurant and Market. Pop-up dinner at Kneads in Westport. Big Easy Dining Around event at the Capitol Theater in Port Chester, New York.

But the crowning night of the event is the GWF 10th Anniversary Celebrity Chef Gala honoring legendary chef Jacques Pépin.
