Mercedes Monet Won’t Talk About Leaving WWE – Wrestling Inc.
Sasha Banks and Naomi made some headlines in May 2022. They reportedly walked out of WWE As the reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Due to alleged creative differences, WWE stripped the title and denounced them in statements online and on air, calling them “unprofessional”. Currently led by Mercedes Monet, Banks is attracting attention in New Japan Pro-Wrestling as the IWGP Women’s Champion.
Monet also makes frequent appearances at conventions these days and recently attended Planet Comicon panel in Kansas City. During the session, Monet was asked by a fan if he was considering returning to WWE after Vince McMahon’s retirement.
“First of all, no one knows the story,” said Monet. I didn’t say it, so no one knows the story.I’m not going to say anything.I’m a classy boss, CEO.” But her dream was to work in Japan, something she hasn’t done yet.
“So I’ve been in WWE for almost 10 years now, as I’ve grown in my career. I had to change,” she added. And I had to feel something different in my soul, so I had to pursue a whole new dream, a whole new chapter, a whole new destiny, this is where I want to be, this is what I want This is my dream. ”
