Jimmy Fallon performs with a local NY band at a bar in St. Paul.patrick’s day
Britney Warner 1916
Jimmy Fallon We left the Big Apple for St. Patrick’s Day and a small town pub party upstate…we went to the local watering holes and jammed out with the band!
The “Tonight Show” host stepped into Iron Smoke Distillery in Fairport, New York on Friday. Just outside Rochester. Apparently he actually knew the owner of the bar across the street and heard the 1916 musicians rocking out…he seemed intrigued.
Jimmy is said to have stopped by towards the end of the 1916 set and asked if they could play together before they left. As many of you know, JF is a bit of a musician and a natural showman.
This helped with the three songs they performed, including “Gloria” by The Doors, “Keep Your Hands to Yourself” by Georgia Satellites and “Desire” by U2. Jimmy was on vocals and lead guitar, with all the other band members backing him up.
After taking the stage, Jimmy was said to hang out a bit and take pictures with the patrons… capping off a great time we all had. …and he certainly got it in the Iron Smoke crowd that night.
Whether or not he cooks more about a night out will come on Monday… when he returns to his late-night shift with his own band on hand. A man can probably jump right into himself and hold his own.
Good old Jimmy…you gotta love him.
