Jersey Shore wedding turns into chaos when floor caves in


A couple’s dream wedding reception on the Jersey Shore was thrown into chaos when the venue’s second floor caved in.

Brian and Cassidy Galliardot celebrated their wedding Saturday night at the Daymark Bar & Restaurant in Barnegat Wright, New Jersey, when the venue began shaking, news station WABC-TV report.

“Our DJ just started doing it and we were like three songs,” the groom told the outlet.

However, the couple, along with 200 friends and family members invited to the reception, were sent to flee for safety.

“I felt [the floor]Like, I just dropped and immediately got off the dance floor,” Cassidy told the outlet.

The Barnegat Light Volunteer Fire Department rushed to the scene and evacuated the guests with the help of DJ.

“The DJ did a great job of announcing to all the patrons that they were to safely exit the building after hearing the rumble noise. said on Facebook Sunday.

Daymark will remain closed until it is structurally sound, but no injuries have been reported.

After the initial shock, the new Mr. and Mrs. Gagliardotto celebrated elsewhere.

“We knew where our parents were staying, so we moved there and continued the party,” Brian said.

The couple did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
