If you haven’t received your Form-1095-A yet, find out where it is and how to use it.

If someone in your family had Marketplace health insurance in 2020, you should have already received it Form 1095-A, Health Insurance Marketplace® statement(If you did not obtain the form online or by mail, Contact the Marketplace Call Center.)

How to use Form 1095-A

  • If the form is accurate, use it to “adjust” the premium tax credit. If there is an error, please contact our call center. We will send you an updated new one. Do not file your federal tax until you have it.
  • To “adjust,” compare the premium tax credit you have used upfront in 2020 to the premium tax credit you actually qualify for based on your final income for the year. The difference will affect the amount of tax refunded or payable.
