Have you met Howard?

Howard is a self-employed software designer who needs health insurance.

He designs medical software and, like millions of Americans, has been denied health insurance because of an underlying medical condition.

Out of insurance until 2014

Howard shared his story with us:

“Five years ago, I was diagnosed with diabetes.

To access medical care now, what I do is participate in a diabetes clinical trial.I’m one of those people who are actually guinea pigs for new drugs

Insurance companies want the perfect person, but that’s simply not possible. Everyone will get something someday. ”
