If you recently had or adopted a baby,

This means that you can apply and enroll in a Marketplace Health Plan outside of Open Enrollment, or make changes.

If you join the plan during the special enrollment period, the new health insurance will be applied from the day your baby is born. If you subscribe to a plan, you can still subscribe for up to 60 days after that.

This entitles you to enroll in the plan outside of the open enrollment period. You may also be eligible if you have had other life changes, such as getting married, moving house, or losing job coverage.
