‘Grey’s Anatomy’ returns with new classes for Season 19 | CNN


“Grey’s Anatomy” Was started Its 19 seasons, currently the longest prime time medical drama on TV.

At the end of Season 18, the Gray Sloan Memorial residency program ended. Meredith Gray, played by Ellen Pompeo, was appointed interim head of the surgery.

The new season premiere, titled “Everything has Changed,” marks the Gray Sloan Memorial’s resurrection of its residency program.

The show synopsis reads, “A group of talented and enthusiastic young interns are being recruited as the responsible surgeons work to restore the program to its former glory.

Pompeo (Dr. Meredith Gray) and Kelly McCreary (Dr. Maggie Pierce) return this season. Jake Borrelli (Dr. Levi Schmidt), Wilson (Dr. Miranda Bailey), James Pickens Jr. (Dr. Richard Webber), Camilla Luddington (Dr. Joe Wilson), Chris Carmack (Atticus “Link”) Lincoln), Katerina Scorsone (Dr. Amelia Shepherd).

Scott Speedman also returns as Dr. Nick Marsh.

Viewers will meet five new interns played by Adelaide Kane, Midori Francis, Alexis Floyd, Harry Shum Jr. and Nico Teruho.

The premiere comes six months after last season’s finale. Meredith sees Nick for the first time since he turned down his offer to move to Minnesota.

A new doctor is helping patients injured in the recent tornado.

Miranda Bailey, who quit her job at the end of last season, is back to check out the new interns.

Grey’s Anatomy airs Thursdays at 9 PM ET on ABC.
