Open registration begins on November 1st. Here are some things you can do right now to make the application process smoother.

3 Easy Ways to Prepare for Open Enrollment in 2019

• Please collect everything you need before applying. When applying for or renewing coverage, you will be asked to provide your household, income, and current coverage information.Check this out and save yourself time and stress Marketplace checklist (PDF) Make sure in advance that you have everything you need.
• If you’re covering the 2018 marketplace, please review your current application to make sure it’s still accurate. If not, Update your application With changes in income and/or household. If you don’t update your application, you may not get the right amount of premium tax credits and other savings. Beginning November 1st, you will have access to pre-filled 2019 applications based on the information you provided in 2018.
• Set deadline reminders for open registrations. End of open registration December 15th. If you have a 2018 Marketplace plan, you may be automatically enrolled in the same (or similar) plan for 2019 if you do not respond by the deadline. Compare all available plans as this may not be the best option for you. Mark December 15th on your calendar so you don’t miss out on the perfect deals for 2019.
