Compensation loss that may qualify for a special registration period

You or someone in your family has lost eligible health coverage in the last 60 days (or expect to lose coverage in the next 60 days). This means that you may be eligible for Marketplace health coverage for the remainder of 2018.

Eligible Compensation Loss

If you have lost or are likely to lose coverage from any of these sources, you may be eligible to apply through the Special Enrollment Period.

  • your work
  • Personal health insurance for plans or policies purchased by you
  • cobra
  • Medicaid or Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
  • Medicare
  • Family plan coverage

Note: If you voluntarily withdraw from enrollment, you will not be eligible for the Special Enrollment Period.

How to apply for the special enrollment period
