“I was always at least a foot taller than all the girls, and sometimes all the boys, in my class,” she said. “Even before I started doing sports, weightlifting, etc., I always had a bigger frame.
King admitted that while she tried her best to accept herself, she began to attach negative connotations to her physical attributes, which made her feel like an “outsider.” Luckily, professional wrestling paved the way for King to escape his intrusive thoughts, and King eventually ran into someone he could identify with.
