Things look pretty good right now for Impact Wrestling’s Chris Bey. The former X Division Champion won gold again after defeating Motor His City Machine Guns with partner Ace Austin two weeks earlier to win his championship at Impact World Tag Team.and even if they have, maybe twowith a big title defense looming, Bey is starting to get ahead of some potential challengers.

while being interviewed by PWMmaniaBay named one team he’d love to see him and Austin tiptoe to — and that team lives in AEW.

“There’s a team that comes to mind, a three-letter team. Their initials are FTR,” Bay said. “I think they posted something about the Impact World Tag Team Championships a while back. Well here we are.

“They are a great team and there is no better way to test you against a great team. You’ll have things you might not even know existed, and they’ll love and appreciate the magic we can create for them.”

AEW and Impact aren’t working as closely together as they did a few years ago, but it’s possible Bey gets his wish.
