Applied Surety Announces Key Appointments
Applied Surety Underwriters announced the appointment of Alfred N. Wright and Ronald B. Diggs Jr. to senior vice presidents. as Chief Underwriter.
In his new role, Mr. Wright will leverage his industry connections to build and launch a specialty contract assurance segment for eligible programs ranging from $5M single amount/$10M aggregate.
Prior to joining Applied Surety Underwriters, he served as Senior Vice President at Crum & Forster Insurance Agency, where he was responsible for the firm’s assurance operations. From 2011 until 2015, she served as Senior Vice President of Underwriting at Endurance American Insurance Company.

Diggs joined Applied Surety Underwriters from Crum & Forster, where he served as Chief Underwriter.
In his new role, Diggs will focus on risk selection that supports the company’s bottom line growth.
