Things look to be going from bad to worse for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Second-year star guard Anthony Edwards has been ruled out “indefinitely” after suffering a horrific-looking ankle injury during last night’s game against the Bulls.

This is a tough break for Edwards who was in the midst of a glorious season. His third-year guard is averaging 24.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.6 steals, all of which are career highs. He also hit his career-best field goal percentage of 46.1% and 3-point percentage of 37.1%.
