4 tips for health insurance that can be used all year round
- pay the first month’s premium If you haven’t already, add it to your plans. You must make monthly payments to maintain your health insurance benefits.
- Please submit the missing documents. If you receive a notification that your application has a data match issue or “mismatch”, some of the information you provided does not match our records. To avoid losing health insurance and savings, Please follow the instructions in the notification and submit the documents.
- Please update if your income or information changes. Report life changes — As soon as it occurs, such as a change in income, household size, residence, or any other coverage. These changes can affect your insurance coverage, your savings, and your tax liability next year.
- Be sure to file your 2015 taxes. If your 2015 plan has a premium tax credit, you must file your 2015 federal income tax return. Otherwise, you could lose the savings you made with your 2016 plan.
